2005 Display
We started decorating "THE TREE" in 2004, (see 2004 Display from the menu for a history) and with some generous doantions from visitors and businesses, we raised money to purchase some items for "The Childrens Ward at Hawkesbury Hospital". We raised just over $800 and were able to purchase two televisions, two video players, and two Sony Playstations. Another local business donated some mobile trolleys for eveything to be mounted on, so that these units could be wheeled from bed to bed.
In 2005 we hope to be able to do something similar again for the "Childrens Ward".
Below is a picture of the tree with it's NEW star, after the original star disintegrated after some high winds. (De-ja-vu)
